Welding Technology Teacher's Assistant
Status: Part-time
Hours: Monday – Thursday; flexible schedule
Pay/Salary: $17.00–$19.00/Hour
Summary
As a Welding Teacher's Assistant at MTECH, you will play a vital role in developing the next generation of skilled welders. This position provides an opportunity to support instructors, mentor students, and maintain a safe and productive learning environment in the Welding Lab. By assisting with demonstrations, supervising lab activities, and encouraging safety practices, you'll help students build confidence and develop the technical skills needed to succeed in the field. This is an exciting opportunity to share your welding knowledge, make a positive impact, and contribute to the success of both students and the program.

What You'll Do:
Responsibilities of the Welding Teacher's Assistant include, but are not limited to:
+ Supervise activity in the Welding Lab.
+ Provide welding demonstrations for the students.
+ Enforce housekeeping and safety procedures.
+ A variety of duties to assist instructors and students.
What We're Looking For:
+ Education Requirements: A high school diploma or the equivalent.
+ Experience: Find qualifications in previous job postings or job descriptions.
+ Technical Skills: Proficiency in welding tools and processes.
+ Organizational Abilities: Strong skills in time management, multitasking, and organization to efficiently handle multiple responsibilities.
+ Attention to Detail: Sharp problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
