Our Direct client is seeking a Contracts Analyst III to join their team and who is responsible for coordinating and managing the contracts, inputs lease data to ensure completeness, accuracy and consistency. Identifies and tracks contractual obligations associated with lease acquisitions, trades and divestitures.

Job Type: Contract
Work Schedule : Hybrid- 9/80 Mondays/Fridays(work from home). Tuesday- Thursday in the office.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Analyses and inputs lease data to ensure completeness, accuracy and consistency.
• Prepares full and partial releases, assignments and Exhibit As for producing properties.
• Assists with working monthly calendars for leases.
• Assists Land Operations as requested.
• Conducts lease/unit reviews for shut-in wells and processes payments, subject to review and approval.
• Identifies and tracks contractual obligations associated with lease acquisitions, trades and divestitures.
• Assists within department with special projects including Acquisition & Divestitures.
• Ensures continuous development of leases is accurately tracked.
• Responsible for an area of operation.
• Interprets contracts and leases for all properties, identifying and resolving technical, data-related and process/procedural issues.
• Identifies and offers alternative solutions to effectively resolve issues and deliver improvements to processes and systems.
• Processes and tracks partner offerings and make necessary updates to records.
• Responsible for preparing agreement exhibits, and lease/acreage reports for business units and upper management.
• May serve as primary point of contact for landowners and other stakeholders, resolving issues about property status and land administration procedure.
• Maintains affiliations with local/national associations and is an active participant through attending meetings and networking events on a frequent basis.
Qualifications
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and willing to learn other computer applications.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills - both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of Quorum Land System/SAP experience a plus.
• Ability to work under deadlines and sometimes on multiple projects.
• Handle confidential and proprietary company data and information.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Knowledge of basic land principles and their application with the ability to analyze land data for the entry into the land data management system.
• General understanding of land terminology, contracts, and their uses with the ability to work on projects of increased complexity under general direction.
• 5+ years of relevant experience with Bachelors degree.
Education
Bachelors degree required if they want to be considered for fulltime position. Procurement, and finance, to support contract-related activities. Develop and maintain contract databases, templates, and workflows to streamline the contract management process.
