Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Production Support/Hadoop Engineer (Charlotte) to join their dynamic team. As a Production Support/Hadoop Engineer (Charlotte), you will be an integral part of the Data Operations team supporting critical infrastructure and ensuring seamless data processing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and optimizing systems, which will align successfully within the organization.

**Job Title:** Production Support/Hadoop Engineer (Charlotte)

**Location:** Charlotte, NC

What's the Job?

+ Provide production support for Hadoop environments, ensuring system stability and performance.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Hadoop, Spark, and related data processing tools.

+ Monitor system health, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.

+ Collaborate with development teams to optimize data workflows and automate routine tasks.

+ Assist in maintaining data quality and integrity through detailed analysis and troubleshooting.

What's Needed?

+ Strong Unix skills, including Bash scripting commands.

+ Proficiency in SQL language for data querying and analysis.

+ Hands-on experience with Hadoop production support in a DevOps environment.

+ Exposure to Spark development, optimization, and troubleshooting.

+ Solid data and code analysis skills, with a bonus for Java and Python proficiency.
