    • Location: Tempe, Arizona

    • Pay: $24.00 hourly 1st shit or $25.50 hourly for 3rd shift

    • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st shift or 3rd shift

    • Industry: Metal Manufacturing

    • Key Responsibilities

    + Operates Automated Welding Machine

    + Floats to operate all other machines in the facility with ability to flex daily or as needed to different machines based on business needs.

    + Operates a forklift while at times operating as material handler.

    + Positions production materials and tooling and maintains proper dimensions according to specifications.

    + Operates various equipment, including controllers, and programs according to production documentation.

    + Meets established performance standards to ensure production schedules are met.

    + Complies with all applicable safety procedures and reports unsafe conditions or potential safety hazards to team leader or appropriate resource.

    + Ensures that products meet CADDY quality standards.

    + Inspects work to ensure proper dimensional requirements are met

    + Assists Maintenance and outside sources with trouble-shooting systems.

    + Takes action and notifies appropriate resource when problems arise concerning equipment, operations, materials, etc.

    + Participates actively as a team member through continuous improvement activities to meet customer needs.

    + Maintains a clean, safe and organized work area.

    + May be required to perform additional duties as assigned.

    • Requirements

    + Knowledge of all operations of the assigned production process required

    + Knowledge of safety policies and procedures, and ability to promote compliance with them.

    + Fork truck licensed or ability to obtain one.

    + Ability to lift, slide and shake heavy gauges of material.

    + Ability to read and use measuring equipment (i.e. tape measure, caliper)

    + Ability to identify and support continuous improvement efforts with the Operations Supervisor.

    + Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.

    + Ability to adapt to rapidly changing business circumstances and have the ability to thrive.
