Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in the chemical and food industry, is seeking a Electrical Engineer to join their team. As a Electrical Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting plant operations and automation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Electrical Engineer

**Location:** San Diego, California

Pay Range:** $100,000 k **What's the Job?

+ Design, install, and support electrical power distribution systems from 24V up to 15KV.

+ Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings including MCC elevation, single line diagrams, and wiring schematics.

+ Manage electrical projects from conception through completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to standards.

+ Collaborate with process control teams to develop I/O checklists and support automation projects.

+ Maintain electrical drawings, equipment lists, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.

What's Needed?

+ Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience.

+ Experience working with power distribution systems up to 15KV.

+ Proficiency in AutoCAD, P&ID reading, and electrical schematics.

+ Knowledge of electrical codes and standards such as NFPA 70E, NEC 70, IEC, and UL.

+ Ability to perform electrical calculations and support project management activities.
