    The Legal A dministrator II builds on the foundational skills of Legal A dministrator I by taking on additional responsibility for process management, contract intake, and compliance tracking. This role provides a higher level of independent support and contributes to process improvements in the legal function. This position is expected to operate with supervision from a manager. The responsibilities of this position include the essential duties and responsibilities of Legal A dministrator I and incorporates the following essential duties and responsibilities. As directed by your manager, this position will require you to support other departments and managers in order to fulfill the immediate requirements of the firm. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned Contract Administration and Tracking : R eview incoming contracts and assist with intake, tracking, and initial system entry. Support legal team members in monitoring contract deadlines, renewals, and key obligations. Document Preparation and Review Support : Draft and prepare standard forms, templates, and correspondence for attorney and specialist review. Provide first-line responses to internal clients on standard requests (e.g., COIs, contract intake updates). Workflow and Process Management : Perform all duties of Legal Assistant I, with additional responsibility for managing routine workflows. Participate in operational and process improvement initiatives within the legal department, and as directed, support inter-departmental projects . Team Development and Mentorship : Mentor and provide informal guidance to Legal Assistant I team members . Additional Duties This list of responsibilities is not intended to be exhaustive. Required to effectively collaborate with internal and external departments Education and/or Experience Associate degree required ; bachelor’s degree preferred. 2-3 years of experience in legal support, contracts administration, or compliance. Strong knowledge of document management systems and contract tracking tools. Excellent communication and organizational skills Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Office Suite Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision. Language Skills Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals . Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public . Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form . Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills Strong computer skills including MS Office, Word, Excel, Outlook and proficient in Adobe Suite software, adaptable to new technologies etc. a must . Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Valid Driver’s License and possess reliable transportation. Work Environment Due to the collaborative nature of this role, it is important that this team member’s regular working schedule aligns with the company’s and fall within 8 AM -5:30 PM . There may be times where tasks fall on nights/ weekends. This position will work in a typical office environment, mostly located indoor with windows. The office contains office equipment resulting in equipment noise .
