Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and chemical processing industry, is seeking a Packaging Operator to join their team. As a Packaging Operator, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the warehouse and quality control teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and a willingness to learn, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Packaging Operator

**Location:** Cleveland, OH

**Pay Range:** $19/hr

**Duration:** 12+ Months Contract

**Shift:** Hours M-F 6am-4:30pm

**Must Have:** Chemical Handling Experience

What's the Job?

+ Unloads materials from delivery vehicles, inspects for quality defects, and labels materials with system-generated labels

+ Performs precise manual portioning of chemicals following SOPs and batch record instructions

+ Samples products for Quality Control testing and conducts material and product inspections

+ Boxes, palletizes, and wraps finished goods for shipment

+ Completes documentation such as batch records and logbooks, adhering to Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and ALCOA principles

What's Needed?

+ Experience in chemical handling is required, with previous warehouse or production experience preferred

+ Ability to work well with a team and demonstrate strong attention to detail

+ Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and safety standards

+ Trained in respirator use and comfortable wearing a full face respirator (please include this information on your resume)

+ Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds unassisted and more with assistance
