The Senior Financial Analyst (Capital & G&A) is responsible for building and maintaining the enterprise Capital Plan and G&A Budgets, owning the Rolling Forecast process, and providing clear, actionable analysis on spend and savings opportunities. The role partners cross-functionally, including with executive leaders, and works closely with Accounting to ensure capital activity is classified and recorded in alignment with Accounting policies.
This role will be located at our corporate office in Novi, MI and will be a hybrid schedule (2-3 days per week onsite). Candidate must be local to Novi.
Essential Functions:
+ Lead the enterprise capital planning calendar; ensure capital plans across functions align to approved plan targets and governance standards.
+ Maintain the rolling capital forecast; track actuals vs. plan/forecast and explain drivers (volume, timing, pricing, scope).
+ Build project-level and portfolio-level ROI/NPV analyses and decision support for select initiatives; partner with other finance leaders where business case ownership sits.
+ Establish and maintain capex tracking (commitments, in-flight, placed-in-service) with clear line of sight to spend, timing, and variances.
+ Partner with Accounting to align capitalization criteria, asset categorization, useful life/depreciation assumptions, and cut-off; assist with month-end and quarter-end capital close inputs.
+ Facilitate annual G&A budget build for assigned functions; translate operating plans into financials and staffing/supplies/contract spend.
+ Own monthly/quarterly G&A forecast updates and variance analysis (actuals vs. budget/forecast), with clear narratives and risk/opportunity callouts.
+ Provide spend optimization recommendations; support expense controls and savings identification and tracking across the organization (e.g., vendor, headcount, discretionary).
+ Prepare concise management reporting packages (Excel/PowerPoint) for executive reviews.
+ Serve as day-to-day finance partner to functional leaders (e.g., Operations, Facilities/Real Estate, IT, HR, Procurement) to ensure plans are built correctly, forecasts updated timely and spend tracked accurately.
+ Standardize planning templates, assumptions, and definitions for capital and G&A to improve comparability and auditability.
+ Strengthen forecasting cadence, close linkages to Accounting, and controls around commitments, approvals, and coding.
+ Identify and automate high-effort manual tasks within Excel/ERP/reporting tools.
+ Enterprise capital plan and rolling capital forecast with project-level detail.
+ Monthly variance analysis (capital & G&A) with executive-ready commentary and bridges.
+ ROI/business case models and post-investment review summaries (as applicable).
+ Savings tracker and expense control recommendations with realized/annualized impact.
+ Quarterly management reporting deck (capital & G&A).
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Minimum Job Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required.
+ 3–5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or accounting with direct exposure to capital planning and/or G&A budgeting required.
+ Experience with Hyperion and/or Oracle, or similar planning/ERP systems preferred.
+ Exposure to capital accounting concepts (capitalization policies, CIP, depreciation) preferred.
+ Experience building ROI/NPV models and post-implementation reviews preferred.

+ Skilled in delivering concise, decision-ready materials; translates numbers into drivers, actions, and outcomes.
+ Upholds financial controls and partners closely with Accounting to ensure classification and timing are correct.
+ Advanced Excel (complex formulas, modeling, pivot tables, data validation); strong PowerPoint for executive storytelling capability.
+ Proficiency with ERP/financial reporting systems and standard reporting packages; ability to learn new tools quickly.
+ Demonstrated ability to analyze, synthesize, and communicate insights to non-finance leaders in clear written and verbal form.
+ Proven attention to detail and accuracy; strong ownership, organization, and deadline management in a fast-moving environment.
+ Track record of cross-functional collaboration and influencing without authority.
+ Ability to communicate complex topics simply; influence without formal authority to drive alignment to plan numbers and spend guardrails.
Compensation and Benefits:
+ Compensation based on position, education and experience. Bi-weekly paid.
+ $95-105,000 base salary.
+ This position is also eligible for our Support Central bonus program which is based on annual achievement of company performance.

+ This position is eligible for paid time off. All Corporate employees are enrolled in our Flexible Paid Time Off (PTO) plan. This plan allows for flexibility and discretion between employees and managers in taking time off - with no set accrual for vacation or sick time. Employees can use Flexible PTO for any reason and is compliant with the Colorado Healthy Families Work Act.
