    What You'll Do:

    Sales Leadership & Growth

     

    + Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve revenue, margin, and growth targets.

    + Lead, hire, mentor, and coach rental sales representatives to build a high-performing team.

    + Set clear sales targets, conduct training and ride-alongs, and hold the team accountable for results.

    + Manage team performance while leading by example in customer engagement and execution.

    + Collaborate with all pieces of the Hunton Group to best support our current customers and create new ones.

     

    Business Development & Customer Engagement

     

    + Prospect and generate new business through cold calling, networking, and industry events.

    + Expand market share by building strong relationships with contractors, facility managers, and industrial owners.

    + Maintain and grow long-term customer relationships, including strategically important accounts.

    + Collaborate with owners, architects, consulting engineers, and contractors to influence project opportunities.

     

    Market & Strategic Insight

     

    + Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies to adjust sales approaches.

    + Enhance penetration in the industrial sector by acquiring new customers and broadening existing relationships.

    + Participate in community and professional organizations to maintain awareness of legislative, purchasing, and market trends.

     

    Operational & Technical Collaboration

     

    + Partner with operations and technical teams to provide equipment sizing, site assessments, demos, and turnkey rental solutions.

    + Support the sales team with technical expertise across HVAC rentals, power distribution, generators, and related equipment.

    + Maintain visibility at customer sites, key projects, and throughout the territory (~70% travel).

     

    Sales Operations & Reporting

     

    + Maintain accurate CRM data, including pipeline, rental agreements, quotes, and presentations.

    + Forecast sales, track KPI metrics, and prepare performance reports for leadership.

    + Participate in Sales Operations and Forecasting meetings to align with leadership strategy.

    + Work collaboratively with other sales managers to develop growth strategies, processes, and best practices across the business.

    Requirements

    + Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or related field (preferred) with 5–10 years of outside sales leadership, ideally in HVAC, equipment rental, or power generation.

    + Strong understanding of HVAC equipment and rental applications; familiarity with generators and temporary power solutions is a plus.

    + The proven ability to hire, mentor, and develop sales teams, set clear standards, and foster cross-functional collaboration.

    + Skilled in prospecting, negotiating, closing, and building long-term relationships at all levels. Proficiency with CRM tools, forecasting, and data-driven decision-making.

    + Entrepreneurial mindset, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing division with frequent travel (~70%).
