About the Position

We are looking for an Aviation Technical Support Representative. This position assists the Aviation sales team, accounts, vendors, terminals, suppliers, carriers, and company with technical support, inspections, compliance, and training. It operates the aviation fuel transload facilities as instructed and promotes and grows aviation parts and refueler revenue.

Reporting to the Aviation Technical and Operation Manager, this position focuses on the following responsibilities:

+ Operates assigned aviation transload facilities and load bulk transport trucks from railcars using mobile transloading equipment.

+ Ensures all CSV safety requirements are adhered to by all drivers while present at a transloading facility.

+ Assists with compliance requirements by suppliers, customers, Federal Railroad Administration (FRA), and other regulatory agencies.

+ Ensures company’s aviation fuels remain on-specification throughout the chain of custody.

+ Provides technical support directly and/or indirectly to accounts, sales team, and vendors.

+ Audits Phillips 66 branded accounts for Aviation Fuel Assurance Requirements (AFQAR) with a goal of zero discrepancy.

+ Assists with troubleshooting, maintenance, and service of aviation equipment.

+ Provides equipment in-service and training as directed.

+ Manages and controls expenses.

+ Mitigates company’s risk as it relates to aviation fuels, logistics and refuelers.

+ Services accounts effectively, efficiently, and with a sense of urgency.

+ Tracks and maintains aviation related documents as assigned.

+ Maintains accurate records and management of databases, expenses, invoices, and agreements.

+ Understands industry standards as it pertains to quality assurance.

+ Performs all duties safely and responsibly while always observing all safety and health rules.

Additional Duties

+ Markets and represents company at industry functions such seminars and trade shows as directed.

+ Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

+ Associate degree or equivalent experience (technical experience with aviation fuels, equipment or quality assurance).

+ Previous hands-on experience in transload operation.

+ Ability to diagnose technical issues related to fuel and equipment and resolve.

+ Ability to explain technical issues in simple language.

+ Ability to work independently.

+ Ability to work with mid and high-level managers at the Company’s accounts.

+ Travel up to 30% of the time and create an efficient and effective travel schedule.

+ Ability to manage competing tasks and priorities.

+ Excellent communication skills.

+ Ability to train others.

+ Possess a high degree of organizational skills, accurate and detailed, and interact well with team members.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

+ Ability to sit, talk, grasp, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift/carry up to 50 lbs.

+ Ability to handle stress during peak periods.

+ Motor coordination of eyes, hands, fingers, and feet for precise movements.

+ Ability to hear with or without corrective devices.

+ Ability to see clearly, with or without corrective lenses.

+ May be exposed to extreme noise, heat, cold, or atmospheric conditions and workplace hazards or potential injuries that are more frequent than normal.

+ Adaptability to changes, delays, or unexpected events in the work environment.
