    Position Summary

    This role is crucial for ensuring the production of high-quality tubing products while maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations. This position is a multi-task position and will rotate to areas as needed.

    Principal Responsibilities

    • Perform intermediate and final inspection of tubing and tubing prototypes.

    • Cross-train within the tubing processes

    • Accurately record data for traceability reporting, statistical process data collection, customer compliance, and quality assurance of medical products.

    • Package materials according to established protocols.

    • Inspect tubing for visual defects using microscopes, monitor microscopes, and box lights.

    • Manually and automatically cut tubing to specified lengths using tubing and braided tubing.

    • Prepare tubing for the cleaning process after mandrel removed, which may involve individual hanging or bundling of the tubes

    • Quality Assurance: Adhere to QA procedures and requirements to ensure product quality.

    • Safety and Housekeeping: Follow safety procedures, maintain good housekeeping practices, and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).

    • Environmental Compliance: Adhere to environmental policies and procedures.

     

    Education / Experience Requirements

     

    High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred but not required. Relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.

    Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

    • Knowledge of operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment.

    • Familiarity with GMP and QA procedures

    • Ability to document and record process data accurately.

    • Awareness of safety protocols and environmental policies.

    • Basic math skills and assembly.

    • Proficiency in computer skills.

    • Must be able to distinguish colors and good vision for inspection purposes.
