Facility Security Officer(FSO)/Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)

Nightwing seeks a FSO/ISSO professional at our San Antonio, TX facility. The FSO/ISSO will help execute the security program as various USG doctrines require, including the ICD 503, JSIG, DAAPM, and supplemental guidance.

Required Skills

+ Requires a TS/SCI Clearance

+ Experience with various information system security assessment/hardening tools - SCAP Compliance Checker, STIG Viewer, Rapid 7, Nessus, etc.

+ Developing and updating RMF documents, including SSPs, Addendums, POAMs, SCTMs, SOPs, ConOps, test plans, etc.

+ Performing initial and annual general/privileged user training and associated functions

+ Performing technical security control assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential deficiencies as part of the continuous monitoring program

+ Performing cybersecurity sustainment activities, including change management, account management, auditing, media protection, user training, file transfers, etc.

+ Conducting system audits, system baseline validations, and ConMon activities

+ DoDD 8570/8140 IAM Level 2 professional certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CISSM, etc.)

+ Provide clear guidance to company employees, and recommend modifications to operations policies or procedures as appropriate

+ Thorough working knowledge of the NISPOM, other relevant DoD security guidance as well as the Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) standards

+ Proficiency and experience with Insider Threat Program

+ Thorough understanding of security databases such as DISS, NBIS, and NISS

+ Administer day-to-day security programs: personnel processing, program reviews, document control system, audits & self-inspections, violation investigations & reports, receipt/dispatch/destruction/mail logs, visit certs, etc.

+ Experience creating and conducting initial security briefings, debriefings, indoctrinations, pre/post foreign travel briefings and refresher briefings, as appropriate

+ Ability to develop and establish an effective security awareness, training, and education program

+ Strong communications skills, both oral and written

+ FSO certification with minimum 4 years of experience as an FSO

+ COMSEC Custodian certificate or experience

**Education Requirement** :

A bachelor's degree in information systems or cybersecurity or six years of experience in place of education is required for this role.
