Description

We are looking for an experienced Facade Estimator to join ourClient's team in Queens, New York. This role involves working closely with construction teams to evaluate, plan, and provide accurate cost estimations for glass, curtain wall, and metal panel systems. The ideal candidate has a strong background in facade estimating and is committed to delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze project specifications and design documents to determine material and labor costs for facade systems.

• Collaborate with construction teams and suppliers to ensure accurate cost estimates and pricing.

• Evaluate glass, curtain wall, and metal panel systems to provide detailed project proposals.

• Prepare and present comprehensive cost breakdowns and bid packages to clients.

• Monitor market trends and material costs to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines.

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and clarify project requirements.

• Utilize estimating software and tools to streamline calculations and improve accuracy.

• Provide insights and recommendations to optimize facade construction methods and costs.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in facade estimating, specifically for glass, curtain wall, and metal panel systems in New York, NY.

• Strong knowledge of construction processes and materials, including sheet metal and metal building systems.

• Proven ability to analyze and interpret design plans and technical specifications.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to interact with clients and suppliers.

• Proficiency in using estimating software and tools.

• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time-management skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
