Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Controller to oversee financial operations and ensure accurate reporting for our organization in Windsor, Colorado. This role requires strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes, as well as proficiency in QuickBooks Online. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining compliance and driving financial efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including preparing accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

• Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to support organizational goals and financial planning.

• Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end close procedures.

• Conduct audits and reviews to maintain compliance with financial regulations and standards.

• Monitor and analyze monthly variances to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.

• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and properly documented.

• Utilize QuickBooks Online to manage financial data and streamline accounting processes.

• Compile and organize financial documents to ensure accessibility and proper recordkeeping.

• Collaborate with internal teams to support decision-making through detailed financial analysis.

• Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard the organization's assets. Requirements • Proven experience in a Controller or similar financial management role.

• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online and other accounting software.

• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

• Comprehensive understanding of month-end close procedures and variance analysis.

• Solid knowledge of audit processes and compliance requirements.

• Ability to manage and maintain a general ledger with precision.

• Excellent organizational and document control skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
