Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing complex accounting functions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies. This role requires strong analytical skills, leadership capabilities, and the ability to support both routine accounting operations and strategic financial initiatives.

Responsibilities:

+ Oversee general ledger activity, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close

+ Prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules

+ Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policies

+ Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

+ Manage accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions

+ Support audits, tax filings, and external reporting requirements

+ Identify process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency

+ Mentor and support junior accounting staff as needed

+ Participate in special projects and strategic initiatives within the finance department

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

+ 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience (public accounting or corporate)

+ Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar)

+ Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
