Full-time Monday-Friday; flexibility to work 2 evenings per week

LMSW: $32.92/hour

LMHC/LCSW: $37.36/hour

MHC or MSW limited permit: $29.38/hour

The Charles Evans Center (CEC) is a leading not-for-profit located in Nassau County. CEC assists adults diagnosed with mental illness in reaching the highest level of independence with the freedom to ASPIRE HIGHER in their hopes, dreams and accomplishments. We are currently seeking a few exceptional people who have a passion to create a meaningful impact in the lives of the amazing people we support.

We have great opportunities for positive, motivated individuals to work in an OASAS outpatient clinic setting.

In this position, you will:

+ Conduct assessments and all aspects of psychotherapy with individuals, children, adolescents, and adults according to caseload assigned in a competent, professional manner.

+ Complete progress notes, treatment plans and other required documentation in a timely manner.

+ Work with patients to develop and achieve treatment goals and change goals as needed.

+ Coordinate treatment with a multidisciplinary team.

+ Provide follow up to patients by phone and letter regarding missed appointments.

We require:

+ Master’s degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling.

+ License for Social Work or Mental Health Counseling by New York State.

+ Current New York State Registration license.

+ Experience with mental health and substance use treatment, required.

+ Bilingual Spanish, preferred.

New hires must become members of 1199 SEIU United Healthcare Workers East within 30 days of hire.
