Description We are looking for an experienced Tax Preparer to join a growing tax advisory firm in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role requires someone who is highly organized and skilled at handling multi-state and federal tax filings for both individuals and businesses. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills and a commitment to delivering accurate and compliant tax solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Review client-provided data to identify and address any missing information.

• Input detailed tax information into specialized tax software to ensure accuracy.

• Prepare federal and multi-state tax returns for LLCs, partnerships, and corporations.

• Complete federal and state tax returns for individuals, including all relevant schedules.

• Assist in meeting federal and state compliance requirements, such as foreign disclosure forms and 1099 filings.

• Analyze third-party financial documents, including Schedule K-1s and Profit and Loss statements.

• Handle specialized filings such as payroll tax, state sales tax, and heavy highway vehicle returns. Requirements • At least 1 year of experience in tax preparation.

• Familiarity with Drake software is preferred.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Reliable, analytical, and confident in handling complex tax situations.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a collaborative setting.
