Job Title: Maintenance Technician - Night Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on the night shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing plant equipment to ensure seamless operations.

Responsibilities

+ Troubleshoot and repair AC and DC motors, single and three-phase electrical circuits, electronic drives, and PLCs.

+ Read and interpret schematics and blueprints for effective troubleshooting and repair.

+ Repair extrusion machinery to produce fiber optic cabling.

+ Re-wire and replace small to mid-size 480V motors.

+ Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and systems.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.

+ Experience with AC/DC motors, three-phase electrical circuits, and PLC control.

+ Ability to perform preventive maintenance and repair tasks.

+ Strong understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in extrusion machinery is a plus.

+ Skill in wiring and replacing motors.

Work Environment

This position is on the night shift, operating from 6 PM to 6 AM, Monday through Thursday, with work every other weekend. The role involves working with state-of-the-art technologies and requires adherence to safety and quality standards.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roanoke, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
