Job Title: PCB Assembler/Rework Specialist
Job Description
Join a team that plays a crucial role in supporting various military and commercial programs by performing intricate assembly and rework tasks on electronic and mechanical components. This position involves working from diagrams and drawings to assemble and test modules, boards, panels, and other subassemblies.
Responsibilities
+ Perform soldering and desoldering of fine-pitch and surface mount components on printed circuit boards (PCBs).
+ Conduct repairs on damaged traces, through-hole pads, surface mount pads, and internal circuitry of PCBs.
+ Replace damaged gold contacts and conduct hot gas surface mount component rework for Ball Grid Array (BGA) devices.
+ Utilize hand and power tools, jigs, and saws for assembly tasks.
+ Conduct quality inspections and ensure work is in accordance with quality specifications.
+ Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies.
Essential Skills
+ 5 years of experience in a similar role.
+ Strong soldering experience on circuit cards.
+ Familiarity with electronic assembly, rework, and terms like Ball Grid Array (BGA).
+ IPC Certifications, including IPC 610 and J-Standard.
+ Ability to use a computer for various tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Blueprint reading and interpretation.
+ Experience in mechanical assembly and hand tool usage.
+ Proficiency in using a microscope for detailed inspections.

Work Environment
Work in a huge, climate-controlled manufacturing facility in Oldsmar that prioritizes safety and regulation. Employees have spacious, individual workstations. Choose between two shifts: 1st shift from 5am to 3:30pm or 2nd shift from 3:30pm to 2am, Monday through Thursday, with Fridays off.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of OLDSMAR, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
