• Mechanic Helper

    Aerotek's client is seeking a dedicated Mechanic Helper to assist mechanics in our plant.

     

    This role involves supporting mechanics with tools and various other tasks to ensure efficient operations.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist mechanics in repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment.

    + Carry tools and equipment to and from storage and work areas.

    + Help maintain cleanliness in the work area.

    + Oil and grease machines as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + General labor experience

    + Mechanical aptitude

    + Experience with hand and power tools

    + 1-2 years of basic mechanic experience

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in construction is a plus

    + Strong mechanical aptitude

    Work Environment

    + The role involves working in a coal plant, which is a dirty environment, and requires comfort with working outdoors. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 6 am to 2 pm. Openings are available in both Canton and Curtis Bay.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
