Description

Ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting receiving inspections on medical devices and components to ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards. They will be partnering with the Engineering group to ensure there are no issues with the incoming components and also troubleshooting any issues themselves with direction from the Engineering Leads. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity and safety of products entering our facility.

+ Perform receiving inspections of incoming medical device parts, materials, and components in accordance with established quality standards and procedures.

+ Verify that received items meet required specifications, including dimensions, functionality, and documentation.

+ Join technical meetings with engineering division to be the main POC when it comes to the Technician groups vision.

+ Review supplier certifications, test results, and other quality-related documentation for compliance.

+ Conduct visual and mechanical inspections using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other measurement instruments.

+ Identify and report non-conformances, discrepancies, and defects; collaborate with suppliers to address quality issues.

+ Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports to ensure traceability and compliance.

+ Work closely with the Quality Assurance, Procurement, and Quality Engineering teams to resolve quality-related issues and ensure continuous improvement.

+ Assist in the calibration and maintenance of inspection tools and equipment.

+ Stay informed about regulatory requirements and industry standards, including ISO 13485 and FDA guidelines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in an ISO 13485:2016 certified system.

- Understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, fixturing, and tooling.

- Advanced knowledge of inspection equipment and maintenance.

- Experience in Calypso

- Experience in 2D and 3D CAD (Solidworks)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
