Material Handler / Shipping & Receiving Assistant
Roles and duties: MUST HAVE CLEAN DRIVING RECORD AND CAN DRIVE A TRUCK AND TRAILER (not CDL nor does it require daily driving)
• Load Trucks to meet customer needs
1. Photograph every load
2. Ensure all shippers are signed and dated
3. Turn in all documentation to Shipping & Receiving MGR
• Unload trucks
1. Inspect each delivery before accepting
2. Unload ensuring no damage
3. Verify each item to receiver
4. Verify each item to RMP P.O.
5. Sign an date each receiver and each line item
6. Pass on all documentation to Shipping and receiving manager
• Material tags / material location
1. All products are to be tagged as directed from the purchase
2. Locate materials as directed for production and or shipping
• Pull orders and package materials for shipment
(Work with shipping manager to ensure this is completed each day)
1. As required pull stock products for orders
2. Package as required for shipment
• Verify all products being Received (This is a shared role w/Material Handler)
1. Inspect all packages of incoming items for damage (before you sign for product)
2. If Damage then notify supervisor prior to accepting delivery
3. Verify all items match shipper
4. Verify all items match RMP P.O.
5. Date stamp in received and note each line item as verified
6. Pass on receiver to Shipping & Receiving Mgr.
7. Tag material properly for production use
8. Direct location of materials for production use
• Maintain yard in orderly manner
1. All orders are stacked together in orderly manner
2. All scrape bins are clean and staged properly (call to have dumped when needed)
3. All scrape pallets are organized
4. All extrusions are covered in yard
5. Keep all trash clean from yard at all times
• Material Management shop floor
1. Move existing material as needed to assist in production
2. As needed restack and arrange new materials on the floor
• Assist in inventory
1. As directed help complete the task
• Assist in shop
2. As time permits / as directed complete the task
**Pay Details:** $18.00 per week
