    Job Description

    Operate manual press brake machines to produce parts per specifications. Interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules. Adjust machine settings to ensure accuracy and quality. Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment. Maintain accurate production records and documentation. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate press brake machines to produce parts according to specifications.

    + Interpret and understand blueprints, work orders, and production schedules.

    + Adjust machine settings for accuracy and quality.

    + Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.

    + Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of press brake machines.

    + Maintain accurate production records and documentation.

    + Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.

    + Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.

    Essential Skills

    + Previous press-brake experience.

    + Experience with CNC operating or setup.

    + Ability to read blueprints.

    + Experience with setup processes.

    + Attention to detail.

    + Ability to conduct quality checks.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with RG-35 with NC9-EX Controller is preferred but not required.

    + Experience with machine operation and general production.

    Work Environment

     

    The work takes place within the Assembly and Machining department. While the environment is not loud or dirty, it is quite compact due to the various machines and assembly departments. Employees will work with press-brake machines ranging from 35 to 45 tons, starting with the 35-ton machines, and will handle 6-8 different parts a day with bends in the 16, 18, and occasionally 22 gauge range.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elk Grove Village, Illinois.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
