Job Description
Join a leading custom metal manufacturer specializing in the electrical component industry. As a CNC Wet Mill Operator, you’ll run various parts in the wet mill area, primarily working with copper and handling both small and large production runs. This role offers exposure to a wide range of parts, ensuring a dynamic and engaging work experience.
Responsibilities
+ **Operate CNC mills and lathes for diverse production runs**
+ **Machine parts from various materials, with a focus on copper**
+ **Read and interpret blueprints for accurate machining**
+ **Hold tight tolerances and maintain precision**
+ **Perform secondary operations (drill press, deburring, fabrication)**
+ **Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and other quality tools**
Essential Skills
+ **3–5 years of experience operating CNC mills and lathes**
+ **Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation**
+ **Skilled in holding tight tolerances and precision machining**
+ **Knowledge of cutting tools, speeds, and feeds**
+ **Experience with micrometers, calipers, and other QC equipment**
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ **Ability to set up CNC mills from blueprints**
+ **Experience interfacing with CAD/CAM systems**
+ **Familiarity with Haas, Fanuc, and Fadal CNC mills (Haas most used)**
