We’re looking for **_Production Assistant_** to assist in printing operations in a **climate controlled facility.**

**Position:** Production Assistant (Opportunity for growth)

**Starting Pay** : $16-16.50 per hour + OT

**Hours/Schedule:** 230pm - 1100pm | Mon-Fri

Summary of responsibilities:

+ Insert address tags into mail sacks, or mail trays used for bulk mailing of ID cards, kits, and catalogs.

+ Maintain equipment, troubleshoot problems, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment as needed.

+ Keep work area in order and follow prescribed safety regulations.

+ Able to read postal statements and sort mail accordingly.

+ Adjust machinery as required to return output to the proper specifications.

+ Direct and supervise the work of helpers on the machine.

+ Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department manager.

+ Communicates status of jobs to department manager

Must haves:

+ Experience in printing or mail inserting environment (operating either Pitney Bowes, Kern or Bell and Howell Inserters) is a plus.

+ Perform all work and activities with honesty and integrity.

+ Take personal responsibility for productivity, quality and timeliness of work.

+ Effectively communicate (and listen) clearly, professionally, politely and persuasively in all situations; respond well and in a reasonable, timely manner.

+ Challenge conventional practices and use creativity and information to lead, innovate, problem solve, and implement ideas to contribute to the growth of the organization.

+ Support and meet company/department goals and core values.

+ Collaborate with co-workers to achieve common goals.

**Pay Details:** $16.00 per hour
