Job Title: Day Shift Maintenance Technician
Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer specifications. This includes motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machinery.
Responsibilities
+ Utilize hand tools, power tools, precision-measuring, and testing instruments for repairs and maintenance.
+ Disassemble devices to access and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, and appropriate tools.
+ Adjust functional parts and control instruments with hand tools, levels, and straightedges.
+ Repair or replace defective parts using hand and power tools.
+ Install special functional and structural parts in devices using hand tools.
+ Test device performance after repair.
+ Lubricate and clean parts regularly.
+ Operate lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to create or repair parts as needed.
+ Request supplies, materials, tools, machine parts, and other necessary equipment.
+ Repair electrical equipment as required.
+ Ensure proper use, care, and storage of tools and equipment.
+ Perform bearing analysis and installation.
+ Analyze electrical circuits, wiring diagrams, and drawings; install, repair, calibrate, service, or replace electrical devices and systems to prevent overload using an amp probe, recording meter, and various tools.
+ Weld various types of metal for repair or fabrication using tools like cutting torch, arc and gas welder, grinders, and more.
+ Perform preventive maintenance on uninterrupted power supply systems, generators, and air compressors to ensure reliability and continuous operation using appropriate tools.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.60 - $39.86/hr.
