Job Title: Refrigeration HVAC Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration HVAC Technician with experience working on Supermarket Rack systems, which are essential for maintaining the cold storage of food in grocery stores. Familiarity with a variety of refrigeration systems, including Ammonia Refrigerators, Blast Freezing Equipment, Chillers, Compressor Racks, Walk-In Cooler Compressors, Condensing Units, Evaporators, Low-Temperature Systems, Medium-Temperature Systems, and Remote Condensers, is required.
Responsibilities
+ Lead and manage HVAC/R teams by utilizing resources, information, and tools effectively.
+ Identify customer needs and business priorities to coordinate and execute work assignments.
+ Provide advice, feedback, and support to ensure timelines and quality standards are met.
+ Model adaptability to change and assist team members in embracing new challenges.
+ Oversee and implement special projects for Field Operations by collecting and analyzing data.
+ Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and guidelines.
+ Manage refrigerant levels and parts inventory to ensure available resources for HVAC/R maintenance and repair.
+ Troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, and repair HVAC/R, EMS, and direct digital control equipment.
+ Perform major and minor preventive maintenance and provide feedback on troubleshooting best practices.
+ Manage district workloads with external service providers.
+ Support the implementation of Facilities Management.
Essential Skills
+ 10 years of experience in HVAC/grocery rack refrigeration or 8 years with an AAS in A/C and Refrigeration.
+ Universal EPA Certification.
+ Strong skills in HVAC repair, EPA regulations, service, troubleshooting, and repair.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with Glycol and CO2 systems.
+ Completion of a 2-year technical/vocational HVAC/R program or 2-year associate’s degree in A/C and Refrigeration.
+ Excellent driving record.

This is a Permanent position based out of Murphy, North Carolina.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $83200.00 - $104000.00/yr.
