Job Title: DIETARY COOK - START ASAP

Job Description

Join our food service team as a dietary worker, where you will have the opportunity to be involved in various roles including cooking, dishwashing, and tray passing. Your contribution will be vital in ensuring efficient and high-quality food service in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

+ Assemble patient trays accurately and timely, ensuring alignment with patients' requests and therapeutic diet orders.

+ Serve cafeteria customers courteously and efficiently, handling cash accurately and operating the cash register.

+ Prepare food for patients, cafeteria, and special functions.

+ Maintain cleanliness of work areas related to food preparation and serving.

Essential Skills

+ Proficient in cleaning, mopping, sweeping, dusting, and sanitizing.

+ Experience in food service, line cooking, dishwashing, and food handling.

+ Knowledge of proper and safe use of custodial equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Willingness to learn and grow in the role.

+ High standards for work areas and personal appearance.

+ Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.

+ High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.

+ No previous experience required, just a readiness to learn.

This is a Contract position based out of Richmond Heights, Missouri.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
