Job Title: Technical Project Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager to lead and manage complex projects utilizing a hybrid agile/waterfall methodology. The successful candidate will establish a governance framework and maintain a weekly work management cadence to ensure timely completion of deliverables and achievement of milestones.
Responsibilities
+ Manage the Master Project Plan using a hybrid agile/waterfall methodology.
+ Establish a governance framework and maintain a weekly work management cadence.
+ Collaborate with customer stakeholders to manage all phases of the implementation lifecycle, including requirements, analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
+ Ensure high-quality, value-added communications, status reporting, issue resolution, and stakeholder management.
+ Participate in the continuous development of industry-specific accelerators, such as templates, best practices, and automation tools.
+ Identify and expand opportunities in Program Management, Lean Management, and Change Management.
+ Monitor program performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
+ Conduct regular program reviews and monitor risks and issues, developing mitigation plans as necessary.
+ Prepare and present status reports to leadership.
+ Maintain a repository of program documentation and lessons learned.
Essential Skills
+ Secret Clearance
+ PMP Certification
+ Expertise in Microsoft Project
+ Strong Systems Engineering and Integration skills
+ Proficiency in MBSE (Model Based Systems Engineering)
+ Strong communication and leadership skills
+ Experience in risk management and managing complex portfolios
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field
+ 4+ years of experience supporting complex portfolios of projects
+ Proven experience in delivering large-scale systems engineering programs
+ In-depth understanding of cross-program Risk Management, Schedule Management, and Status Reporting
+ Experience managing multiple stakeholders both internal and external
+ Master's degree in applied science, computing, engineering, mathematics, physics, management information systems, or related fields is preferred
+ OCSMP Certification or equivalent is preferred
+ Experience supporting Navy SSP Strategic Weapons System is preferred
Work Environment
This position offers a hybrid work schedule with three days onsite, two mandatory days onsite (Tuesday and Wednesday), and one flexible day. The role follows a 9/80 schedule, providing a balanced work-life environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $84.00/hr.
