Job Title: Industrial Design EngineerJob Description

We are seeking an Industrial Design Engineer to help shape the aesthetics and functionality of our cutting-edge robotic products. You will utilize your skills in PTC Creo to transform ideas into detailed 3D models ready for manufacturing. Collaborating with a team of engineers, designers, and product managers, you will ensure that our products are not only functional and easy to use but also visually appealing.

Responsibilities

+ Design the look and feel of robotic products using PTC Creo software.

+ Transform ideas into 3D models ready for manufacturing.

+ Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to ensure designs meet functional and aesthetic standards.

+ Create presentations and visuals to effectively communicate design concepts.

+ Assist in building prototypes and refining designs based on feedback.

+ Ensure all design documentation is clear and adheres to company standards.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in PTC Creo, with a focus on complex surfaces and assemblies.

+ Experience in industrial design, particularly in robotics or electronics.

+ Strong portfolio demonstrating the integration of design and engineering.

+ Understanding of manufacturing processes like molding, metalwork, and machining.

+ Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

+ Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with automotive or humanoid robotics is a plus.

+ Proficiency in KeyShot is advantageous.

+ Animation skills to support research presentations are beneficial.

+ Experience with Adobe Suite is helpful but not mandatory.

+ Ability to convert ideas and sketches into detailed renderings and models.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Salem, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120.00 - $135.00/hr.
