    MIG Welder / Robotic Programmer

    Job Description

    Under close or minimum supervision, you will weld sub-assembly and/or finished products according to written and verbal instructions. Your tasks will include using the GMAW Process (MIG) Welding, Air Arc Gouging of A36 to 4140 heat-treated steel in flat, horizontal, and vertical planes. You will also be responsible for performing on-line testing and inspection activities with minimal supervision, and preparing units for the next operation following all procedural guidelines. Compliance with all safety and hazardous material procedures is mandatory, and wearing protective equipment is required to meet or exceed OSHA and company standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Weld sub-assembly and finished products using MIG Welding and Air Arc Gouging.

    + Perform on-line testing and inspection activities.

    + Clean and prepare units for the next operation as per procedures.

    + Comply with all safety and hazardous material procedures and wear necessary protective equipment.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficient in MIG Welding.

    + Experience in Robotic Programming.

    + Knowledge in Tool & Fixture Design.

    + Software Design experience.

    + Experience in automation.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is a manufacturing shop with welding, machining, assembly, packing, and shipping activities. It is non-climate controlled, so appropriate attire includes steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and jeans. The shift is from 6am to 2:30pm, with flexibility to work additional hours as needed, as operations run from 5am to 4:30pm most days, providing ample opportunity for overtime.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.
