    Job Title: Processor

    Job Description

    This role involves producing dispensing closures efficiently while ensuring quality and safety standards are upheld. The position requires troubleshooting process problems and leading a team with excellent communication skills.

    Responsibilities

    + Ensure all molding automation equipment is operational and maintain molding machines to standards.

    + Communicate with the Team Leader of the previous shift to relay relevant information.

    + Review set-ups and ensure machines are running to standards.

    + Meet labor efficiency standards.

    + Troubleshoot production process issues and notify the appropriate individuals promptly.

    + Determine root causes of problems arising from materials, machines, or operator training.

    + Prepare work requests and communicate with departments to ensure proper repair and maintenance.

    + Monitor and document production cycles, ensuring proper standards are met.

    + Start up machines with the appropriate mold color and material changes.

    + Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the work area, complying with safety standards.

    + Perform general housekeeping duties such as sweeping and trash removal.

    + Shut down machines not in use, including weekends, and ensure all utilities are off.

    Essential Skills

    + 2-3 years of demonstrated experience in manufacturing in similar roles.

    + Experience in plastics and injection molding.

    + Proficiency in troubleshooting and machine operation.

    + High School Diploma or equivalency preferred.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with hand tools and assembly.

    + Ability to perform assembly and inspection functions when needed.

    This is a Contract position based out of Slatersville, Rhode Island.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
