    Job Title: Press Brake Operator

    Job Description

    As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and forming sheet metal parts on AMADA RG Brake presses. Your role will also involve machine inspection, maintenance, and managing tooling inventory. You will work with tight tolerances and must be able to inspect parts using calipers and other tools, as well as read and decipher sheet metal blueprints.

    Responsibilities

    + Set up and form sheet metal parts on AMADA brake presses.

    + Utilize CNC controller to set up individual parts as per prints.

    + Perform machine inspection and maintenance.

    + Manage tooling inventory and maintenance.

    + Inspect individual parts using calipers and other inspection tools.

    + Read and decipher sheet metal blueprints.

    + Complete and maintain company's work sheets and router system.

    + Understand and configure bend deductions for various materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, and titanium.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum 3 years of experience in press brake operation and setup.

    + Proficiency in blueprint reading and CNC machine setup.

    + Ability to work with tight tolerances and inspect parts accurately.

    + Strong analytical and shop math skills.

    + Excellent problem-solving and process improvement skills.

    + Competence in typical industry-related equipment inspection techniques.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Fundamental blueprint reading competence.

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    + Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $54100.00 - $62400.00/yr.
