Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
Join our team as a Machine Operator where you will perform essential duties such as operating slitters, assembling products, labeling, quality control, and packaging. In certain areas, you may also be involved in minor setup and equipment operation.
Responsibilities
+ Operate and manage slitting machines and other equipment.
+ Assemble, label, and package products according to specifications.
+ Conduct quality control checks to ensure product standards.
+ Perform minor setups and adjustments on equipment as needed.
+ Work efficiently in a team environment to meet production goals.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in machine operation, packaging, and assembly.
+ At least 6 months of prior warehouse experience or equivalent.
+ Manual dexterity and good coordination.
+ Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in production and material handling is advantageous.

Work Environment
Work in a clean environment, collaborating in teams of 2-4 members. The dress code includes jeans or work pants, with all personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, nitrile gloves, and cut-resistant gloves provided. Contractors must supply their own steel toe boots. The standard work schedule is Monday to Thursday from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, with potential overtime based on volume.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ames, Iowa.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
