Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance on machinery and respond to direct requests from the manufacturing floor. The role involves mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, reading blueprints and schematics, and ensuring equipment is production-ready and safe.

Responsibilities

+ Perform preventative maintenance on machinery.

+ Evaluate and respond to maintenance calls from the manufacturing floor.

+ Troubleshoot mechanical issues with pneumatics, hydraulics, gear boxes, and motors.

+ Troubleshoot electrical issues with 3-phase motors and VFDs.

+ Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.

+ Operate maintenance room equipment according to procedures.

+ Maintain equipment in a production-ready and safe condition.

+ Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic presses, injection molding machines, and robotic equipment.

+ Participate in cross-functional process improvement teams.

+ Actively participate in daily team production meetings, communicating key items on safety, quality, maintenance, production, and continuous improvement.

+ Follow work instructions and perform root cause analysis for problem-solving.

+ Maintain a 5S environment in the work area.

+ Administer the equipment preventative maintenance program.

+ Participate in equipment optimization and cost control/reduction activities.

+ Assist maintenance staff to ensure all auxiliary equipment is in place and working order.

Work Environment

This position operates on a 12-hour shift from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM, following a 2/2/3 schedule. The work environment involves hands-on engagement with various machinery and equipment, ensuring a dynamic and active role.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Franklin, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $72800.00/yr.
