Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our manufacturing facility. This role demands a proactive individual with a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Responsibilities
+ Demonstrate knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing best practices and code standards.
+ Prioritize and perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing facility equipment.
+ Identify mechanical/electrical defects and determine the root cause of failure.
+ Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repairs for both direct and alternating current systems.
+ Collaborate effectively with others to complete projects.
+ Complete installation and fabrication projects independently or with a small team.
+ Utilize manuals and other resources to research and locate equipment and parts to support production needs.
+ Request parts and service as needed.
+ Operate power and hand tools, metal fabrication equipment, forklift, welder, cutting torch, and multimeter.
+ Maintain tools and machinery in good condition and use them carefully as instructed.
+ Utilize Maintenance Management software efficiently.
+ Strive to reduce waste, recycle products whenever possible, and reuse resources when practical.
+ Work safely at all times, following safety rules and policies, and participate in scheduled training.
+ Report injuries and near misses promptly in the required detailed format and propose corrective actions.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance.
+ Understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and PLC controls.
+ Experience with welding and HVAC systems.
+ Familiarity with Allen-Bradley equipment and 3-phase systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Mechanical or industrial maintenance degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ At least 1 year of related experience.
+ Active driver's license and qualification to operate a vehicle on company business.
+ Ability to read and comprehend simple notices and instructions, including operating procedures and safety rules.
+ Basic mathematical skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $56000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
