Job Title: CNC Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience with 5-axis machines, CNC programming, and be familiar with various machining operations. You will be responsible for managing the operation of CNC machines, ensuring the production of high-quality parts that meet precise specifications.

Responsibilities

+ Interpret and apply prints and job orders to understand product specifications, including dimensions, tolerances, inspection, and the number of parts to be machined.

+ Follow tooling instructions such as cutting speeds, feed rates, depth of cuts, and identify the cutting tools required.

+ Install and adjust specified cams, gears, and stops to control stock and tool movement.

+ Maintain all lubricants, coolants, and other operator maintenance required for the machine's daily operation.

Essential Skills

+ Previous experience with 5-axis machines.

+ Experience with CNC programming, milling, turning, and lathes.

+ Proficiency with DMC Mori Machines, Mori Seki, and manual lathes.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and job orders.

+ Familiarity with tools such as calipers and micrometers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ CNC Machinist qualification.

+ Experience with CNC Programming and 5 Axis Machinery.

+ Proficient in set up and changeover processes.

Work Environment

This position is based in a climate-controlled, clean, and quiet facility located in Murfreesboro, TN. The role operates on the 2nd shift from Monday to Friday, 4:00 pm to 2:30 am, with some Saturday overtime. Personal protective equipment such as steel-toed boots and eye protection is required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $66560.00/yr.
