Job Title: Practice Administrator
Job Description
The Practice Administrator will oversee the daily operations of an infectious disease clinic. This role is responsible for managing a team of 16+ staff, ensuring seamless transitions in EMR systems and workflows, and aligning clinic operations with organizational goals. The role entails achieving key objectives such as financial improvement, reducing staff turnover, increasing service lines, and supporting providers to enhance RVUs. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with robust leadership skills, healthcare facility management experience, and a thorough understanding of billing and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
+ Promote and practice the organization's mission, vision, and values with integrity.
+ Ensure high-quality patient care by monitoring patient experience feedback.
+ Oversee daily operations, optimizing scheduling, patient flow, and resource allocation.
+ Provide direct and indirect oversight of on-site clinic staff.
+ Manage front-end revenue cycle functions, including reconciliation of daily collections and end-of-day reports.
+ Recruit, train, and lead high-performing teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
+ Comply with and enforce all established policies and procedures.
+ Conduct employee coaching, reviews, and provide constructive feedback or disciplinary action as necessary.
+ Strategically manage P & L, clinic budget, monitor expenses, and ensure financial sustainability.
+ Ensure strict adherence to all healthcare regulations and standards.
+ Maintain confidentiality regarding patient information in accordance with professional and departmental standards.
+ Collaborate with medical staff to ensure seamless, compassionate, and timely patient care.
+ Forge and maintain strategic relationships with community organizations and stakeholders.
+ Lead quality improvement initiatives to drive superior patient outcomes and clinic efficiency.
+ Participate in site visits, audits, and related activities as needed.
+ Act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders to ensure satisfactory experiences.
+ Support quality program processes and objectives; participate in local quality teams.
+ Ensure confidentiality and security of patient records.
+ Support activities around the 340B Pharmacy Program.
+ Work collaboratively with functional leaders to drive key performance indicators.
+ Deliver monthly and quarterly presentations on clinic performance to Leadership.
+ Maintain knowledge of state and federal regulations and guidelines.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s Degree or five years of experience as a Medical Practice Manager.
+ Valid Driver’s License.
+ Proven experience managing healthcare facilities or clinics.
+ Strong understanding of EMR systems (eCW preferred, but others acceptable).
+ Knowledge of billing, coding, and compliance regulations.
+ Ability to lead and manage a team of 16+ staff.
+ Familiarity with healthcare programs and contracts.
+ Strong leadership and team management skills.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
+ Understanding of infectious disease care models.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with infectious disease patient populations.
+ Experience integrating case management and testing services.
+ Ability to liaise across departments and handle clinic acquisitions and EMR/workflow transitions.
Work Environment
Located at 3012 East Commercial Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL. Operating hours include one evening per week/month until 8 PM and one Saturday per month. The Practice Administrator should be available whenever the clinic is open for emergencies or coverage. The setting is onsite in a clinical environment. This is a permanent position offering competitive compensation and a bonus plan.

This is a Permanent position based out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $111000.00/yr.
