Job Description
Join our team as a Medical Assistant where you will play a vital role in providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced oncology setting. You will be responsible for rooming patients and collecting essential medical data, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.
Responsibilities
+ Rooming patients and recording vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes.
+ Stocking exam and treatment rooms and managing the inventory of medical supplies.
+ Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
+ Ability to take manual blood pressure as needed.
+ Experience working in fast-paced environment
+ Certification as a Medical Assistant.
+ Strong understanding of medical terminology and electronic medical records.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Excellent customer service and administrative skills.
+ Experience with phlebotomy and electronic health records.
Work Environment
Work in a collaborative and supportive environment that values teamwork and culture. Enjoy team-building activities, holiday celebrations, and an open-door policy. The role requires working from 8:15 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with no weekends. You'll be stationed at the Woodlands location on Mondays and Fridays, and at the Conroe location from Tuesday to Thursday. Access to reimbursement is available for travel outside of assigned clinics. Additional benefits include accumulating 5 hours of PTO per pay period, a 401K with a 3% match, and two different insurance plans.

This is a Contract position based out of Spring, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
