Job Title: Geotechnical Engineering Project ManagerJob Description
The Geotechnical Engineering Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing geotechnical reports, managing projects from inception through the proposal and reporting phases. This role requires familiarity with GDOT processes, formats, specifications, and guidelines, including necessary analyses. The candidate should also be experienced with GDOT WFI, BFI, PDA, and proficient in using related software such as GRLWEAP, Slide, and MSEWall.
Responsibilities
+ Manage and oversee geotechnical reports from inception to completion.
+ Handle project proposals and reporting phases efficiently.
+ Ensure compliance with GDOT processes, formats, specifications, and guidelines.
+ Conduct necessary analyses as required by GDOT.
+ Utilize software such as GRLWEAP, Slide, and MSEWall effectively.
Essential Skills
+ Degree in Geology or Civil Engineering.
+ 1+ year(s) of experience in the geotechnical or testing field.
+ Proficiency in data collection and geotechnical analysis.
+ Experience in civil engineering and concrete work.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Familiarity with GDOT WFI, BFI, PDA.
+ Experience with geotechnical software such as GRLWEAP, Slide, and MSEWall.
Work Environment
The role requires local travel and involves working on a large scale of interesting projects with growth potential. The position is based in the local office and may involve lab work within the Cleveland area.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
