Job Title: Project Engineer

Job Description

The Project Engineer will lead projects related to site construction, storm drainage, roadways, sanitary sewers, water lines, grading, erosion control, and water quality design for both private development and municipal projects. The role involves coordinating with survey and utility teams as well as landscape architects. The Project Engineer will manage projects from conception to completion, including client coordination, quantity take-offs, cost estimates, project scheduling, coordination with consultants, reviewing agencies, and utility companies, and obtaining construction permits.

Responsibilities

+ Lead and manage projects for site construction and infrastructure development.

+ Coordinate with survey teams, utility teams, and landscape architects.

+ Manage project timelines from conception to completion.

+ Conduct client coordination and communication throughout project phases.

+ Perform quantity take-offs and develop cost estimates.

+ Schedule projects and coordinate with consultants and reviewing agencies.

+ Obtain necessary construction permits.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in civil engineering and design.

+ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.

+ Minimum of 5 years experience in design.

+ Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

+ Strong project management skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.

+ Engineer in Training (EIT) certification required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
