Job Title: Production Associate
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Production Associate, working with a national company involved in exciting industries such as space, medical, and defense. We are looking for motivated individuals to support our production manufacturing, helping us meet our customer deadlines while learning new skills and embracing our company's policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
+ Support production manufacturing to meet customer deadlines.
+ Perform testing, inspection, light assembly, machine operation, and packaging tasks.
+ Assemble components, ensuring metrics for piece assembly are met.
+ Follow detailed instructions and work under close supervision.
+ Operate within established policies and procedures, seeking approval for deviations.
+ Utilize basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
Essential Skills
+ Basic computer skills, including the ability to navigate programs similar to internet browsing.
+ Experience with basic Excel for documentation and Outlook.
+ Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn soldering techniques.
+ Ability to adapt to changes in work plans and priorities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School diploma or equivalent GED is preferred.
+ One or more years of related experience is preferred.
+ Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
+ Attention to detail and self-motivation.
+ Ability to work independently and in team settings.
+ Flexibility to assist other departments as needed.
+ Willingness to take on additional assignments and improve work productivity.

Work Environment
The manufacturing environment is well-lit, maintains comfortable temperatures, and has a moderate noise level. Shifts are available across different schedules, including A, C, and D shifts with varying hours. Employees have the option to sit or stand during their 10-hour shifts, with standing being required at times. The role involves light industrial tasks with weight limits of 10-15 lbs.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nampa, Idaho.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.60/hr.
