Job Title: Production Operator

Job Description

As a Production Operator, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by loading raw materials into press machines, unloading finished products, removing excess materials, and performing quick visual quality checks. You will also assemble small components into fabric, ensuring that daily production standards are met.

Responsibilities

+ Load raw material (fabric) into press machine (part weighs less than 15lbs).

+ Unload finished products from the machine.

+ Remove excess material and recycle (skeleton).

+ Perform quick visual quality checks on products.

+ Assemble small components into fabric.

+ Work to ensure daily production standards are met.

Essential Skills

+ Ability to operate production machinery.

+ Competency in loading and unloading tasks.

+ Experience with quick visual quality checks.

+ Forklift operation knowledge.

+ Basic understanding of Windows and data center operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High school diploma or GED is suggested but not required.

+ Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions/procedures.

+ Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions.

Work Environment

This role is based in a modern, fully automated manufacturing facility, reducing the need for heavy lifting. The environment is fast-paced, clean, and can be warm or humid, especially in the summer months. Safety is a priority, with numerous policies in place to ensure a secure working environment. You may occasionally be exposed to airborne particles, and the noise level is moderate to high. Regular communication and interaction are required in this role.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of JEFFERSONVILLE, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $19.00/hr.
