• Construction Scheduler - Data Center

    Actalent (Underwood, ND)


    We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Scheduler to support planning and execution on a hyperscale data center project. This role is critical to ensuring project milestones are met through effective scheduling, coordination, and risk mitigation.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Implement industry-standard Planning & Scheduling best practices.

    + Lead planning efforts with the Project Manager and Scheduling Department, including development of Work-Breakdown Structures (WBS), activity durations, and sequencing.

    + Analyze drawings, specifications, and related documents to develop and validate Baseline schedules.

    + Monitor and support schedule updates by Operations staff, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

    + Represent the company professionally with owners, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.

    + Develop conceptual bid and proposal schedules and present to selection committees when needed.

    + Use analytics to identify trends and support risk mitigation strategies.

    + Cost- and manpower-load schedules for execution phase planning.

    + Prepare reports including Earned Value Analysis (EVA) and integrate cost and schedule data.

    + Evaluate actual progress against planned schedules and communicate impacts of changes.

    + Prepare Time Impact Analyses and explore “what-if” scenarios to mitigate delays.

    + Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6.

    + Coordinate with design, permitting, and submittal processes to align with construction timelines.

    + Support Last Planner System efforts and update weekly work plans from subcontractors.

    + Participate in weekly subcontractor meetings and Lean construction events.

    + Identify and track project constraints and analyze critical paths to recommend work-arounds.

    + Assist with special projects and departmental initiatives as needed.

    Required Skills & Experience

    + Intermediate-level experience in project scheduling within the construction industry.

    + Proficiency in Primavera P6 and schedule analytics.

    + Experience working on data center or other large-scale infrastructure projects.

    + Strong understanding of construction management, estimation, and subcontractor coordination.

    + Ability to analyze and communicate complex scheduling data effectively.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
