Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Machine Maintenance Mechanics to join our team in York County. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting production equipment, as well as performing other assigned tasks. Candidates must have relevant experience in maintenance within a manufacturing setting and a willingness to obtain a Maine Boiler's License.

Responsibilities

+ Repair and maintain production equipment.

+ Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.

+ Perform preventive maintenance on machinery.

+ Complete other tasks as assigned in a manufacturing setting.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 2 years of experience in a maintenance mechanic role.

+ Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.

+ Ability to perform preventive maintenance tasks.

+ Willingness to obtain a Maine Boiler License.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

+ Comfortable working in environments that may be hot, refrigerated, or dirty.

+ Ability to lift 50+ lbs as needed.

Work Environment

Work in diverse settings such as boiler rooms, wastewater rooms, production, and commercial kitchen areas. Be prepared for exposure to strong smells from spices and sauces, and potential to get dirty with food products. Available shifts include 1st Shift from 5am to 1:30pm and 2nd Shift from 9am to 6pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, Maine.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
