Key Responsibilities
+ Draft high-quality Boundary, Topographic, and ALTA Surveys using MicroStation and AutoCAD.
+ Support the Surveying team by creating detailed engineering and survey plan sets.
+ Convert field notes into accurate CAD drawings with speed and precision.
+ Collaborate across multiple projects, ensuring consistency and clarity in deliverables.
+ Generate reports that translate complex survey data into actionable insights.
What You Bring
+ Expertise in MicroStation and AutoCAD.
+ Solid experience with topographic, ALTA, and boundary survey workflows.
+ Strong grasp of surveying principles including plat subdivision, easements, and topography.
+ 3–5 years of experience as a civil CAD drafter, ideally in land development or transportation.
+ Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Associate’s Degree in CAD preferred.
+ Civil 3D experience welcomed if MicroStation is not available.
+ Interest in expanding into other divisions or deepening surveying expertise.
Work Environment
+ Fast-paced and project-rich: manage 2–5 active projects at a time.
+ 100% CAD drafting from your own workstation—initially on a company desktop, later upgraded to a laptop.
+ Flexible work arrangements: earn one remote day per week (Monday or Friday).
+ Join a team of 20 survey professionals, including 4 licensed surveyors.
+ Business casual dress code and ongoing training opportunities.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $38.00/hr.
