All work complies with strict quality assurance practices.

    Responsibilities

+ Perform linear and non-linear dynamic structural evaluation to predict system responses and resulting loads for reactor systems and internal components.

+ Create and evaluate analysis models using ANSYS, ANSYS APDL, and similar numerical simulation codes.

+ Review archive records and assess the impact of design and operational changes on existing conclusions.

+ Provide clear and complete analysis documentation in accordance with engineering procedures.

+ Proficient in dynamic analysis, stress analysis, and finite element analysis.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with high-temperature component analysis (Div 5 experience is a plus but not required).

+ Ability to provide a first-principles approach to define problems and expand into higher-order analysis.

+ Experience with dynamic simulations to model complex structures.

+ Proficient in working between time and frequency domains.

+ Efficient and effective in project-based work assignments with time and schedule constraints.

    Work Environment

Fully remote work environment with limited travel. The role supports R&D efforts for next-generation nuclear reactor technology. The candidate must be a proactive individual who takes ownership of their work and can drive tasks forward independently.
