    Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer/Controls professional to join our peanut factory team. The ideal candidate should have experience working on conveyors and will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing our production systems.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems, including conveyors.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve issues with industrial controls and equipment.

    + Train self and others on basic electrical and mechanical skills, maintenance systems, and the use of new technologies in preventive and predictive maintenance.

    + Conduct mechanical repairs and overhauls to ensure optimal performance of machinery.

    + Utilize problem-solving skills to address and rectify production issues.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of two years of industrial electronics training.

    + Two years of industrial controls experience or four years of industrial controls experience.

    + Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, programming, and troubleshooting.

    + Experience with conveyor systems.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Strong computer skills.

    + Ability to adapt to new technologies.

    Work Environment

     

    Work a 12-hour shift schedule that includes alternating Sundays. Choose between Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday OR Thursday, Friday, Saturday night shifts, running from 5:30 PM to 6:00 AM. Join a dynamic team in a fast-paced production environment.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Fort Smith, Arkansas.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $31.00/hr.
