Field-Based Construction Project Manager – Owner’s Rep (NYC | Sports & Hospitality Projects)
Lead the delivery of high-profile, ground-up construction projects in NYC as an Owner’s Representative.
We’re hiring a Field Superintendent to oversee the execution of large-scale commercial and hospitality projects, including the renovation of stadium suites and the construction of a new four-story building. This is a boots-on-the-ground role ideal for someone with strong field supervision experience who’s ready to step into a leadership position under a seasoned Executive PM.
About the Role
You’ll serve as the Owner’s Representative, managing field operations, coordinating contractors, and ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence across all phases of construction. This role involves direct collaboration with design professionals, contractors, and stakeholders on a high-profile $850M program.
Key Responsibilities
+ Oversee field operations for ground-up and renovation projects
+ Coordinate with contractors, design teams, and local authorities
+ Lead construction meetings, manage agendas, and maintain project records
+ Enforce safety protocols and ensure OSHA compliance
+ Review drawings/specs and identify construction issues
+ Manage procurement, contract changes, and permit processes
+ Support QA/QC plans and environmental compliance
+ Monitor schedules, identify delays, and recommend recovery strategies
+ Review payment applications and change orders
+ Prepare progress reports and support project close-out
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or 8+ years of supervisory experience)
+ OSHA 30 certification
+ Experience with ground-up construction and large-scale building programs ($100M+)
+ Strong understanding of civil, structural, MEP, and architectural systems
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Adobe Acrobat, Bluebeam, and web-based construction management platforms
+ Experience setting meetings, organizing agendas, and keeping minutes
+ Prior experience in sports, recreation, or hospitality projects preferred
+ Strong communication and leadership skills

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $74.51/hr.
