    We are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to support our ongoing project with WAMATA. This is a two-year engagement, and we are looking for someone to join our team immediately to provide project management support.

    Responsibilities

    + Provide project support for a general contractor with more than 2 years of experience.

    + Read and interpret construction drawings accurately.

    + Utilize project management software, especially Procore, effectively.

    + Handle project documents, including Submittals, RFIs, Change Orders, and Blueprints.

    + Create and maintain project schedules and budgets efficiently.

    + Assist in the selection, communication, and management of subcontractors.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 2 years experience in a project support role for a general contractor.

    + Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings.

    + Strong experience with project management software programs, particularly Procore.

    + Ability to handle project documents including Submittals, RFIs, Change Orders, and Blueprints.

    + Experience in creating and maintaining project schedules and budgets.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in construction, construction management, and commercial construction.

    + Ability to write RFIs and review Submittals.

    + Experience in project engineering and project coordination.

    Work Environment

    The position is based full-time in our Upper Marlboro office. The role may require occasional visits to the project site for progress meetings.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Upper Marlboro, Maryland.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $38.46/hr.
